Who it fits
For businesses that pay monthly or hourly staff from recorded hours and want an approval step before money leaves.
Create a period, calculate it from each employee’s salary terms and completed work days, add approved bonuses and active deductions, then approve and mark it paid. Approval locks the period; marking it paid posts the wage cost to the cash book. Each employee gets a payslip with hours, overtime, gross, deductions and net.
Payroll kept in a separate file leaves the wage cost outside the books and reconstructs the hours a second time. One period built from the recorded days keeps pay and the cash book on the same number.
